One of those process crimes led to Mueller being appointed in the first place.
The firing of Comey itself isn't a "process crime."

The standard that you posted makes no logical sense, because it can be applied to the firing of any director regardless of incompetence.

"If you fire me, you'll be impeding every ongoing investigation under my watch."
