Mornin Mohan:
That cpq report is great to show the computer industry is
not dead yet, should benefit others like hwp, dell.
Meanwhile London did not like IBM report, msft has another
hearing thursday, htch loses again.
So have no idea where cpq stock goes today, will have to
take long term view 6 to 12 months or go ape.
Once again its up to Dell to save the whole situation by beating the whisper in Feb(ggg)

Mohan,

That was a very impressive report. I guess we can put to rest that margins would be hurt by selling sub's. Notice how the headlines stated unit sales higher? I guess that was a directed statement to Alice at Merrill.

Someone needs to explain to me why CPQ and Dell are lower before the open? Maybe that will change, but other tech's reporting shouldn't be hurting CPQ or Dell.
