"Perceptions of vehicle-buying conditions have deteriorated within the @UMich consumer survey, driven by more consumers concluding car prices are too high." Avg price increase/vehicle from Trump's Mexico tariffs ( #pt): –GM $2,400 –FCA $2,200 –Ford $1,600

Trump making sure your next car costs more.

So it's been 17 months since Trump starting imposing tariffs on just about every one of our trading partners, ostensibly meant to lower our trade deficits with all these countries by compelling them to come to the table to negotiate new trade deals that would benefit the United States.

So, we must have seen at least SOME results by now, shouldn't we? I mean given how much this has cost the American people, and given how many businesses have gone under as a result of these tariffs, and given the number of former trade partners that have chosen to go elsewhere for goods that they at one time purchased from the U.S, please tell me something's been gained by all this. Frankly I can't name one country that has been cowed by all these tariffs - can you? In fact, since Trump came into office, despite all these tariffs levied, rather than decreasing the trade deficit, trade deficits have actually increased by 24.5%.

I'd like to know when the hell the people in this country are going to figure this out and finally decide to hold this idiot accountable. Instead, this incompetent fool is being rewarded for his failures by a 41% approval rating.
