News on EIDOS (EIDSY) may spill over into the entire sector today. The U.K.-based company estimated that it has shipped 4 milion units in the most current quarter ''signifcantly above company expectations...results will show a level of profit sustainibility in excess of current market conditions.'' The ADRs have not opened yet, but the stock is up sharply in the U.K. (thanks in part to Tomb Raider, no doubt). If EA takes its cue from EIDSY, the rest may follow EA as well. Heads up on BDE. I'm hearing CS First Boston coverage may be coming before February.
