I don't know this story but I can make some reasonable assumptions. The gop spent years trying to destroy Clinton with lie after lie, year after year. So knowing this Obama said, nope, not playing that game. You see, if the gop hadn't spent a very long time abusing power and lying about everything from Whitewater to WMDs to where Obama was born there might be some trusty lefty over but that bridge was burned a long time ago. Dems want to destroy the gop now. We tasted blood.
