I began by saying there is no such thing as free trade. Everyone cheats. You say the US cheats and you're okay with it. So am I. But I don't pretend we're the good guys. Everyone cheats. Everyone breaks the rules so what is the trade war really about? The trade war is about the US fearing China beating us, specifically, the US fears they'll beat us with 5G phones. The US is trying to slow them by banning US companies from selling any of our chips to them (no free trade, no trade at all) which is a gross violation of WTO agreements and also an admission that they already won. Don't get hung up on farmers getting millions of dollars from the government. You can be a self made millionaire too if you buy some farmland.
