I understand your need for drama. The gop spent years lying about crimes President Clinton never committed because he was able to balance the budget, something none of the slogans writers in the gop could do under Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump. I also understand the dilemma you share with other republicans when Gingrich said Clinton's tax increases would cause a recession and soaring deficits but instead gave us balanced budgets and a soaring economy. The soaring deficits he foresaw actually happened under Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump after they cut taxes, tax cuts he supported. Being 100% wrong and ignoring the results became a system of self preservation. How do republicans cope with never being right? They have safe places like fox and SI where they make things up and pretend they're still capable of carrying on an intelligent conversation while they can ban anyone who is still versed in the English language.
