Let's begin with the gop passing a tax cut before CBO scored it. Let's recall how failing CEOs wanted the tax cut before it was scored. After they passed the tax cut they learned it would cost at least $1.5 trillion (it's close to $2 trillion now). How do they pay for their new debt? They don't. Their donors hire PR firms to come with slogans like "fiscal conservative" and "balance the budget" to convince morons that they give a crap but they really don't. Democrats passed the ACA. The gop controlled Congress after it was implemented. What did they do to enhance and make it better? They did nothing. Apparently their voters think Congress isn't supposed to legislate, but instead whine like little sissies (they got the sissy part down). When was the last time a republican president balanced the budget? Why can't a republican Congress write a budget? Why can't republicans raise taxes? Why can't republicans raise the debt ceiling? Why can't republicans deal with the horrific effects of gun violence? Why can't republicans be Americans? Why do republicans bother to reproduce? Democrats pushed for gay marriage and it's now the law of the land. Over 80% if the Fortune 500 already support trans rights and this includes gender identity. Around 50% of the Fortune 500 support climate change science and have put in place plans to combat it We await the time when knuckle draggers catch up with us....how long will it be? 10 years? 20? Regardless, we always win. It only takes time. If only they had a spine.
