Trump says and does really dumb things but to them it all makes sense. Maybe it's because they've allowed their minds to turn to mush. When my generation writes the history of this time we'll have some interesting things to think about. Why did one party think it was okay to never raise taxes? Why did they stay in war when knew it was based on lies? Why did they vote for people who lacked basic skills? How did they think they'd pay back all the debt they created when they gave trillions of dollars to their donors?
