TO ALL!! and sick-a-more-are you really that new to the way the street works? i told you guys already that they usually have an outside TRANSFER agent perform this.{because they HAVE TO HAVE AN OUTSIDE REGISTRAR} usually a bank. FOR THE BENEFIT of those that don't KNOW- Textbook definition~ transfer agents: a transfer agent records the name,address, and social security number,and number of shares held by each registered shareholder. The transfer agent also assures that properly endorsed old certificates are cancelled and that new certificatesin the name{s} of the new owner{s} are signed {by the responsible company officer}, sealed{with corporate seal}, and delivered{to the new shareholder{s}}. This transfer agent is typically independent of the corporation. I believe that bankers trust will also be the REGISTRAR{which MUST be INDEPENDENT of the company}. The definition of registrar will be posted to my web pages later.. i am not goin to flat out post this stuff here because then i have to look it up again when the questions come.. be well and realize that they are leading you around by the nose.. taxi
