Taxpayers ALREADY Hurt by Year 2000 "Crisis"

"The IRS uncovered an unintended side effect of its effort to fix the Year 2000 computer problem: About 1,000 taxpayers who were current in their tax installment agreements were suddenly declared in default due to a programming error.

"It's believed to be the first evidence at the IRS of taxpayers being stung by the fallout of the 'millenium crisis.'"
