AGW is due to the increase in IR absorbance because of the increase in [CO2]. What's the difference between IR absorbance and thermal conductivity? If one assumed the conductivity was critical think of this at 400ppm it would be like having an 8"x8" square piece of insulation in a 1000 square foot attic. Why? What happens to the heat generated from all sources that is heating the planet.....it dissipates and .the rate of heat dissipation into space would determine the temperature of the atmosphere...consider our atmosphere to be on big piece of insulation covering the planetary attic..
