You say you can hear but can you listen... to more of this same broken record... For the nine months ended 9/27/97, revenues rose 85% to $65.2 million. Net income rose from $4.8 million to $10.2 million. Results reflect increased sales volume of Direct Imaging systems used in the Quickmaster DI, and increases from PEARLsetter and consumables.
And Pearlgold is not included. Please play a new CD for us...yawn.

Of course there's no such thing as a guarantee in the world of commerce. Presstek shares that reality equally with every other inhabitant of that world. (But some folks are more equal than others!)

Read the release again. You might just be able to discern some developments very very auspicious for Presstek. On the other hand, motivation does affect perception, so who knows what you will discern?

I'll be away for a few days.

Pierre, the one positive I got from the press release yesterday was that it's the first time I know of that the company provided the public with anything remotely resembling a detailed explanation of it's current state. I do agree that the release may be paving the way for a 4Q earnings disappointment, but I also have the hunch that those who think there might be light at the end of the tunnel by 3Q '98 are on to something. The question is: from what price will that light start to shine? I think this stock will be a teenager before it starts up again. All in all, whether bull or bear ye be, I was happy to see the company come public with someting more substantial than the one-liners we've grown used to.
