Yes you can buy shares in Kiewit Diversified Class 'D'(soon to be called Level 3 Communications): OTC Bulletin Board. Symbol: KIWT. (It's doubled in the last couple of months. Just split 5 for 1 about a month ago.)

Kiewit's never sold these shares to the public, but their employees trade their stock on the Bulletin Board.

A chance to buy before it cranks up the IPO machine!

Good luck.

Mark:

If you call and talk to QWST IR person he will tell you that Philip Anschutz, the 85% owner, has a track record of starting up and then selling companies. He says it may very well get sold.

QWST is very much a takeover play. Trouble is, it's too pricey to play for that(kind of like Teleport recently).
