What if US sees negative interest rates like Germany and Japan. Even for a few years, that may/could be the event that starts the blow up. Not even thought of a few years ago and now a probability (low) but very possible.

I still think such an event may/could see the $US fall in value, maybe 25%-35%. You want to pick location of real estate where cost of future ownership low and excellent economic expansion (new jobs).
