I'm not sure the socialism angle is news. Republicans talked about free trade but as soon as Trump told them to forget it, they forgot it. Republicans talked about capitalism until Trump told them to forget it so they forgot it. Republicans say they want balanced budgets but Trump's budget deficits tell the real story. What republicans say they believe is an ad constructed by PR firms. It's not what they believe. Beliefs almost never change but their entire belief system collapses when they get a new ad.
