Based on pre-market action today in ARQL we should see major shakeup in leader board. Bulba should keep the green jacket, but Jbob should see a $20,000+ pop in his overall valuation due to a 20% position in ARQL. Kmast is already in the top ten and he should see a $17,000+ pop(15% position) putting him up more than 50% YTD. Five others (including myself) have 10% allocations. We are coming for you Bulba--don't look back! (:>)

6/14/2019 Contest update
Although most biotechs faltered on Friday, a big bounce by ARQL (held in 7 Contest portfolios) helped keep the Contest median in the green for the week.
At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 10.08% YTD (vs. up 9.61% YTD a week earlier), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 6.32% YTD (vs. up 7.13% YTD a week earlier) and the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 13.03% YTD (vs. up 15.28% YTD a week earlier), while the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) was up 17.50% YTD (vs. up 16.68% YTD a week earlier).
Utilizing the “Sleeping Beauty” ZIOP maneuver, BULBA’s portfolio easily repelled an ARQL "BTK" attack and remained Contest leader with a 82.18% YTD gain. Still, both second place OHMS’ portfolio, up 53.00% YTD, and third place ANDRE’s portfolio, up 52.41% YTD, did get a booster blast from the ARQL rocket.
At Friday's close, 30 of the 39 Contest portfolios were in the green, while 22 were beating the NBI and 16 were beating the SPSIBI.
The 167 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 16.62% and a median YTD gain of 4.96%.
Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks for the week ranked by % Gained and % Lost YTD. (Prices not converted to US$ in these Tables.)
Portfolio adjustments: None.
(All corrections, especially adjustments for splits & mergers, greatly appreciated.)
Enjoy another safe & relaxing June weekend biotechies!
Peace & good health,
Bulba
