Have I stated that I think my assessment is the only correct one?
Try not to put words in my mouth.

There are preppers for "grid down". Lots of them are very expert. But unless they're also ready for what the climate WILL DO, I wish them luck. What can be called "temperate" states now...won't be pretty soon. Florida might be temperate...and around the gulf to South Texas too. But it's a little wet there and likely to get wetter.

There are preppers for a nuke attack.

There are preppers for a govt. collapse.

There are preppers for all kinds of events.

They can all be very good at what they're prepping for.

But East of the Mississippi, if the New Madrid goes...subsistence, tribal living is where things will be in 20 yrs or sooner. If they're up North...well population density of Eskimos is very low for a reason.

Normalcy bias will be a big killer.

And...on my board...yes...I may have a last word if I so choose.
