The Snake River Valley seems to have avoided the huge amount of snow and rain that the mountains have seen this winter.. And I'm just fine with that.. since we rely heavily on irrigation and acquifer water here..

Cousin who is a farmer got frost this morning.. but he's still in the process of planting so likely not much damage done..

Says the last time this happened was in '85, and another occurrence in '75.. the latter one wiped out crops all around their farm..

A balmy 36 deg in town this morning..
