Bush and Trump were given really good economies etc. Both went out of their way to destroy the economy, our finances and our standing in the world. You've seen the polls showing how fast the world has turned against the US again after Bush lied about WMDs and republicans gave us Trump. At some point, we have to say these things are not accidents. We have to accept that dumb is so strong within that party that it's not worth our time or energy. Personally, I can't see a logical reason for the gop to exist. Get rid of it. It was wrong about tax cuts and deficits, tax increases and balanced budgets, WMDs and health care. What were they right about? Competing with each to see who can lie the most often?
