I can see that happening.

The medical care crisis is expanding in super nova form.I have been at Stanford having my wife checked out. It's easier to fly from Hawaii to Stanford than find credible medical help on the Big Island.

While cruising the Stanford mall, I met a Chinese man about 55-60 years old. He was managing the men's dept at Neiman Marcus. It was slow and I wasn't buying so we got to talking and he told me his family story in SF. His dad started the family business in 1925 in SF, eventually bought the building, raised his family there, and they ran the business after he passed away. The homelessness and drug use eventually drove customers away and they closed the business. The City of SF found out and hit them with a "Health and Safety(?)" revenue tax for shutting down. The amount was so huge the city liened the building, foreclosed it, and now use tax dollars to distribute free medical marijuana to druggies in SF in the very same building it stole from his family...I think I remember the Health and Safety thing incorrectly. Basically some kind of tax/penalty for shutting down.

I watched this dude working and he was sharp, diligent and smart. He didn't have any kind words for SF city politics.
