I was diagnosed @at 19 with kidney stones for first time.. Thought I was dying.. appendix ruptured or some such.. ..

Dietician followup said no more calcium.. no leafy veggies.. no bok choi !!!! no gai ian !! (ONE OF MY FAV SIMPLE DISHES).. no diary.. yogurt cheese .. WTF.. life without Brie and Camenbert ? Impossible !!

They were of course totally wrong...

There can be cases where calcium supplement is required I imagine.. but mostly good dietary sources and vit D3 levels (plus k2) is the best..

but typically extra Ca is not needed..
