Precipitation Expected to Increase with Warming Planet

Wow - best news ever - warmer weather, more CO2 (plant food) and rain to water for the greening Earth.

It'll be a green paradise in no time.

The Clausius-Clapeyron equation shows that for every 1°C temperature increase, Earth’s atmosphere can hold 7% more water.

No argument with air able to hold more moisture with temperature rise but the C-C equation does show nothing of the sort. It does equate the relationship between temperature and vapor pressure of a liquid but this would be the case regardless of the medium above the liquid. The author thought it would sound cool if he referenced C-C but it just demonstrates he's full of shit.

BTW, given that [H2O] in air is 50X plus that of [CO2] and absorbs even more heat why hasn't the planet burned up yet?
