I noticed in Tom's review that he was finding that bopards supplying too much voltage wouldn't work with the .25 micron 26 mhz K6. Maybe this is why that other publication had overheating problems?

Jim and John,,, I contacted AsusTek's (Asus) Reseller Rep and inquired about the availability of 100 Mhz FS Bus in their future Socket Seven Boards. The Rep told me that Asus had adopted a wait and see approach on implementing this in socket 7. He indicated that it would probably be about 2 months before they made a decision to offer 100 Mhz in socket 7 boards. As you probably know, Asus is about the fifth largest seller of motherboards. I would be interested in any other information available from other motherboard producers.
