Little Bear - Perhaps in conjunction with the announced layoffs, the number of job openings (including software people) is significantly lower on S3's web site. Layoffs may result in bad moral at a time when S3 really needs to get on the gas to get their products to market. I agree with you on the headhunters, S3 personnel, with the exception of GJ, may be subject to significant recruiting and could severely hamper efforts to bring Faroudja(s) to market. Mark Trivial note - former CFO George Hervey owns more shares of S3 than a certain Brit who received a 200K bonus for being CEO.
