I understand your philosophy, I have a similar one in regard to core holding and trading money. I was not poking fun at you, I was seriously interested in your view on Dell and if it will break through to new ground, and at what point you would throw the towell in.

I bought Dell the week before Christmas at 81. It was a no-brainer then, Dell was clearly oversold. I am considering taking profits. I think there is a good chance we could break out to new highs, but we could just as easily stall out at 96 and revisit high 80's. I do not see the stock moving below its previous lows any time soon. The risk being short at this point is a great earnings report and upgrades that shoot the stock through resistence, hence I was wondering when you and other shorts throw in the towell.

By the way, you must have a strong stomach for those shorts. I short mostly the smaller players that are losing market share, although I have no shorts currently. I am looking at Internuron Pharm (IPIC) for a short. They are the ones that make Redux that has caused so many health problems. Lots of liability and no earnings.
