I agree 100%. He literally acted as a protector for the attempted coup that started under Obama and his brown-shirts in several U.S. most powerful organizations. While it will never be proven - or even accused - I will always believe that Sessions was part of the "insurance policy" from the beginning when he won Trump over by being part of the campaign. The timing of his recusal was just too coincidental - immediately after being sworn in. And the President totally in the dark that it would happen.
