Yeah, definitely, I agree... I have several different time frame strategies and trading models, I use all of them at differing times and opportunities... My portfolio is a longer term play, it makes very good money year over year and it's optimized and turnkey so I never have to think about the trade, I just take the positions and exit strictly on the mathematics that calculates my entry and exit prices, this works like a charm without thinking about anything... and then I have more near term models that trade in and out while holding maybe for a few days... I don't actually day trade at all although I do sell sometimes on the same day I bought it but only if it's not doing exactly as I anticipated, right or wrong I just get out of that kind of trade quickly, I never hold a losing position on hopes that it "may come back some day," that's just not me...
