You'll get Mq all contorted in a dazzling conniption

with talk of Unconditional Love as soon as it brings him recollections of his Hippie past. :) Then we'll get a thesis on chimps and various other primates.

Love is a hard thing in this society at the best of times. It is hard because we have distracted our minds with so many substitutes, and when we think or say we love, we tend (as a society) to do it selfishly, because "I" is at the center of it all.

We'll get into trouble with talk of unconditional love, because to get there one would have to dissolve the "I". But that takes a certain kind of genius, or alternately, time and mountain caves and quiet; in the end both alternatives are the same.

For most of us, if we manage to locate enough humanity to put our hearts in the right place, and then shuffle about in a dream-like state with a certain knowledge that ultimately nothing really matters, then things begin to look different. None of it is easy, and most of us land in that state (if we are fortunate) when we have no choice. The rest get involved in a sort of endless war to get somewhere which is really nowhere.

Well, that's my two-bits and I'm sticking to it for the time-being. :)

Proud of the demonstrators in Hong Kong. Not proud of any politicians who are only in it for themselves.

Disconnections are growing at an ever increasing rate, as collective unconscious comes to terms with this awareness about the decline in sympathy, for ideas/notions fully compromised, by them in charge.

Enjoy
