(OT) I use "Silent" because I've not been a

"here is stuff about me" sort since I was tiny. I have to speak sometimes to some hundreds, but don't take that to mean I am important.. If not for my horribly mischievous streak that would be difficult. My grandfather composed music for the church and owned the first printing press where he lived. My father was a very good violinist. My whole family grew up on music --- it was mischief, fun and music from childhood until I left (7 kids, so it was music every day, and noisy). I would come home from play in the evening and my father would be on the violin, my sis on the piano, brother on some bass, and people even singing. And my parrot dancing on top of the Ernst Tonk piano. For real. :)

I would perform, terrified, alone, to some 2000+ in my college years, at about 20. My largest audience was about 5000. Then I suddenly quit it all. Really QUIT. A long story. I went to grad school to survive. Many years later, I woke up to digital music like Rip Van Winkel. It had to do with my mother's funeral -- I felt she wanted me to start again. So I started the next day, touching a guitar after xxx years. I have a steep digital recording learning curve, and my fingers have started to move again like they used to. I grew up with Cohen and the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel etc. I love vocal harmony and plain guitar.

At some later time I'll post some proper music. It has to feel right, at a slow time. :)
