The detailed reports from DLJ & DMG that others have posted have the appearance of being vindictive poison pen letters. These ANALysts must sit at their desks for three months with fingers up the their brains waiting for something to do.

The Bay earnings report seemed very good, Mr. House's interview on CNBC seemed to be positive, and the conference call apparently went well.

Hell, ignore the ANALysts. LISTEN TO BAY!

Good Luck Everyone!

George,

Analysts are most often wrong. They are the true sheep of wall street.
One cannot control/please the analysts. The fact that BAY beat estimates implies that a number ofr Analysts were wrong about this Q.

Unfortunately Analysts are not accountable for their recomendations. Also they WORK for a SALARY, not BET on their Analysis. Shows how much they believe their own Analysis.

Analysts may have hidden agendas and motivations. (e.g some may not like that Bay is taking marketshare from Cisco!!, while others may not like how House looks).

Bay has done well this Q, and if they continue to execute should do well in the future. The stock price will follow.
