i raised a fledgling crow like that in the mid eighties.

i named him frankie, after frank sinatra 'cause of his blue eyes.

his first flight landed him in my neighbour's back yard.

their dog thought he would be a good thing to play
with.

i looked at the photos of the crow again. they are
remarkable.

this is frankie, my fledging crow next to louie the
rabbit. louie is tethered cause he was out of his
run. you can't see frankie's blue eyes, but you can
see that it is still pinkish around his beak. he could
not fly at this point.

OWL (orphan wildlife) in delta asked me to foster him.
