I remember the movie. The chief officer present at Pearl Harbor that day ultimately became the fall guy. He was court-martialed and run out of the military. He was made a patsy. I came across his name recently and I can't remember what I heard. It might have been his family, or maybe the last member of his family, his son perhaps, that spent his life attempting to clear his fathers name. You have piqued my curiosity.
