And emotion is 100% on the open border side of things.

I disagree on the absolute nature that you ascribe to the emotional side. Talk to some inner city folks. The drugs, job loss and drain on infrastructure is real. Maybe you can trade some legal Somalis for some nice illegal folks from down south.

The areas that are least affected by it seem to think open borders is a great idea.

I may not know the answer, but I know that if we lose this ILLEGAL immigration battle, we LOSE OUR COUNTRY.

As the President often says, if we don't have borders, we don't have a country. That's pure common sense.
