Ron Rivest (of RSA fame), whom I happen to know very slightly through a mutual friend, once remarked that little by little we were becoming able to do electronically and remotely with great difficulty what we do easily in person. He had just developed a way to play electronic poker fairly (shuffle, deal, cut, bet, show hands, etc). A pretty hard problem. But, he said, he was stumped on electronic beer drinking. Maybe in our misery we have a breakthrough? <ggg> Make mine a double. :)
