It goes beyond appearance of guilt. There’s plenty of solid evidence that FatRump committed obstruction of justice and there’s enough evidence that he colluded with the Russians... not enough for the criminal definition of a conspiracy, but enough to satisfy the requirements of a misdemeanour under impeachment. FatRump has behaved very badly and FatRumpers (with their subzero moral compass) LOVE it. They cheer on his criminality and sticking it to Hillary and the Dems. Does not matter how, just so long as their criminal idol FatRump wins. This is how it goes.
