Paco,
Datek offers free real-time to customers. Cost per trade is 9.95 and 2k to open an account. Other pay services available but why pay when its free. Short the data providers that charge for quotes.

Franco, stumbled across CBS Marketwatch recently, but have no opinion, just a link for you:

cbs.marketwatch.com

Free real-time quotes from your broker are great (I wish E*Trade would offer them), but clicking reload all the time is a pain and you are only getting intermittent snapshots.

BTW, anybody listen to Rubin's talk a little while ago about Asia? Just my read, but didn't sound too reassuring to those looking for a magic bullet or wanting to dismiss Asia as a non-problem.

Franco, wwquote.com offers realtime streaming quotes, options, charts for all exchanges for ~ $35/mo. I'm pretty satisfied though it is going thru some growing pains

Franco, I think the best deal on a reasonably good real-time quote service is Real Time Trader (http://www.naq.com).

Averaged up my short on WDRY today. Selling at $29. But, damn this guy is strong! Covered BTIM at 13.75. At least that went well.

Good luck, Ron

Franco--Here is a site for free real time quotes.
thomsonrtq.com
You have to register by mail after a five day period but they have been reliable and serve as a back up to my brokers service.
All the Best
