Because illegals are cheap labor that don't have the protection of American labor laws. That's why employers like Trump PREFER them. And its why they really want open borders. If Trump really opposed illegal immigration, he'd use E-Verify. And he'd be demanding it be mandated. Instead he blathers about Mexico because he thinks his base is racist and hates Mexicans and other hispanics. That's why demagogues about illegal immigration while NOT doing a damn thing to really affect it.
