Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the CEO announce last month that the analysts had their numbers too low for this company.

I agree with you that there is a lot of tree shaking going on and mms are trying to pick up some ripe apples off the ground. Why take a risk and get on a ladder, when bending down is great exercise for these sedentary types.

As far as mass market to oems, hopefully tdfx is working on that because I agree that any company relying solely on a niche market can get burned badly, regardless of their tech.

Check out the snipet from an old press relase

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- 3Dfx Interactive(TM) (Nasdaq: TDFX - news) today announced that based on strong
sales of both its Voodoo Graphics and Voodoo Rush products, the Company anticipates that its fourth quarter sales will increase by at
least double the Company's earlier estimate of 40% revenue growth over the third quarter sales of $10,018,000.

Does anyone notice the words AT LEAST DOUBLE.....Which means revenues can easily be over 100% sequential growth from the 3rd quarter...Looks like 4th quarter earnings will be blow out...If they managed to take care of expenses...

Other stocks moving after the bell included Cirrus Logic Inc (CRUS - news), which reported third quarter diluted earnings of $0.18 per
share, including a gain, compared with $0.07 per share for the year-earlier quarter.

CRUS beat earnings...which should help out TDFX tomorrow...TDFX should gain back some of the 1 1/4 loss today...IMO
