The computer is under a 3 year warranty from Dell. Its a business machine so I get tech support from Texas. MS tech support is free for my issues. I called them many times and the did a remote sessions into my computer when I could connect to the net. They tried all sorts of things, that only works for a short time.

Its all free of charge.

The problem I was having was intermittent connection problems with Ethernet. (only on one computer, my other 2 were fine.)

Next problem, I cloned my Windows 7 onto the SSD that Windows 10 was installed on as Dell told me yesterday that the problem was not hardware but software the install of Windows 10 was corrupt. They were wrong, it was the modem that a Dell tech this morning suggested, and he was right.

No Internet problems anymore after installing a new DSL modem.
