The fault goes back long ago to previous administrations. Why didn't THEY build those facilities. And catch and release was a way that the previous administrations did not enforce the existing laws. Finally, ya kind of stretch the the nuances re seeking asylum. There are ways to do so and it's clear many have gamed the system to get in hoping to be released to then disappear. Frankly and your should be appalled that is has been allowed for the costs and consequences go well beyond what most consider. However, here's a blip re refugees and most coming across are suggesting they are fleeing their country. HMM so what if they had to come thru MEXICO to do so. BUT do it LEGALLY. Finally if most who supported open borders spent as much time working to make that LAW as they did rationalizing illegal entry this problem would go away.
