AFCI. Yes I'm long. Agree that it got thrown out becuase of "Asian" exposure. Talked with management a couple of weeks ago and the company said that "our business will eventually be seasonal (flat to down 1q vs. 4q), but but we're not seeing it yet". There are at least 3 additional RBOC RFP's coming to market in the 2q98 totaling many $100'smm. My guess is that they win one or more (they recently hired the person who was responsible for RBOC proposals from DIGI- I can't remember her name) of these deals. I saw that S. Africa announced the build out of a 2.5mm line network over the next 5 years just yesturday. If my memory serves me, one of AFCI's founders is(drumroll please)...you guessed it...S.African. Hum, interesting. IMOO. PS- What other threads are you on?
