the military forces were easily able to mass kill the children, women and men of the Waco. But they had barely finished high-fiving when ATF and co got a truckload of diesel and fertilizer coming through the windows.

Tim McVeigh fought back.

There are fewer radicals than dedicated citizens. So the weight is in favor of normal dedicated citizenry, not the radical element. In a civilized country some death sacrifices is the price or cost of maintaining freedom and lifestyle. And acceptable in the quest of victory. It took less than a day to apprehend McVeigh and he to is now dead . No longer a hazard.

The USA has already had 2 civil wars the Lincoln one, and he lost by assassination which is another way people resist, and the civil war against King George which Team America won.
They died for a Cause they believed in more than many can say.

People have this false belief and saying "Lives or a life was saved " No life has ever been saved, It has only been prolonged for a bit longer. Death is inevitable it cannot be prevented or saved.

My oldest son who passed away in 1987, At the age of 22 said in a conversation I had with him a short time prior.

He said;

" Don't worry for me I will be ok with no remorse, It is the people still here who will be sad, That I presently regret.
When I was born I brought no memories into this world with me. Life is like being in a dark room or void. and suddenly the light switch is flipped on. Then for an unknown time you can view and enjoy, Or be horrified by what you choose to encounter or see.
Then at some future time some one else or your self or some event, can choose to shut the lights off again.
If either of those options do not take place the light will inevitable fade out on it's own. And you will simply return to your prior state. Again you will take nothing with you, not even a memory. Life is not about how long you are alive, But rather how you lived it while you were. I am not afraid of death "

For 22 years old, It seemed he had a very clear grasp on what life was about

I lost my youngest son close to 14 years later at the age of 28. He was in medical working in hospital Trauma emergency. He to dealing with death regularly often said, Death itself is not terrifying, It is actually rather peaceful.
