Trump did not create the crisis. That is just a defensive lie.

The crisis has existed for decades, with paralyzed failure to react by presidents and congress alike.

Even today, half the country cannot comprehend the obvious solution to the problem.

For once I agree with you. Trump's policies have given us a red-hot economy with wages rising at the low end of the wage scale and record low unemployment rates. It was just a matter of time before attempted border crossings picked back up and set new highs.

How could Dems not see this scrum at the border coming?
