<<Will you still believe that during the predicted recession?>>

When will you admit that none of your side's predictions actually materialize?

What I want to know is this: When that predicted recession does finally roll around, will your side give the credit for it to Obama? I say this because Democrats are giving credit to Obama for all the economic growth that has happened during the Trump administration. Seriously, if it's still Obama's economy, then shouldn't it be Obama's recession? Up until now, the economy became the incoming president's economy. Fair or unfair, this is how it's always been. Now Dems are trying to rewrite history.

The next recession will come the same way it always has: A build-up of both consumer debt and bank debt. Inflation--both wage and price inflation. Excess labor to the extent that wages go back down because the balance of power goes back to employers. Some unforeseen macro event.

Usually, it's a combination of any of these four factors. I'm sure the seeds are being sown but nothing egregious stands out at the moment.

Actually, I should have mentioned the role of the Federal Reserve. Chairman Powell did his best to bring on a recession by raising interest rates for two years. He was foolishly trying to pre-empt inflation and thank goodness the markets yanked his head out of his rear end.
