Exactly. Suborning perjury is a felony. End of Story.

Not end of story, you loafer, you. "Perjury" is defined as intentional and knowing misrepresentation of a material fact under oath.

Bill Clinton's purported marital infidelities are NOT MATERIAL. They have NO BEARING on his ability to keep running the country as well as he has for the last five years.

If he swore under oath that his favorite color were red, when in truth it were blue, that would indeed be a lie, but it's not perjury. Do you agree with that?

And if you agree with that, then you MUST also agree that a purported request by Clinton to this woman not to go blabbing about an affair is also not perjury.

Exception: If adultery is illegal in the District of Columbia, then it gets closer to a gray area, but only if Clinton were being sued for divorce on the grounds of adultery, or if he were being prosecuted for adultery. I'm pretty sure that outside the Deep South nobody gets prosecuted for adultery these days.

Be careful about confusing illegality and immorality! If it's not illegal, then it's as benign as Clinton's lying about his favorite color!
