Interesting. I'm in the Silicon Valley of Taxifornia and it points S (160?) and fairly low... They may have new satellites that could be higher... at least check here mydish.com I ran a few receivers and got 21 to 45 degrees elevation. Looking into the sun, it looks like my elevation is closer to 21 than 45 degrees. I can record 26 channels at once with the new LNB they just put in with my new 4K Hopper 3 DVR. That is handy when most pay and free networks put their best shows on Sunday nights. I pay for the higher cost of the new DVR with time saved trying to get all recorded when I could only record 2 non network shows at once.
