Wiki is wrong. Of course, it is usually written by total schmuck non historians like yourself. The first Confederate Flag had only 7 stars representing the 7 states that had seceded to that point.. The last stars and bars had 13 stars representing the 11 states that had seceded plus Kentucky and Missouri which had joined the Confederacy but never actually left the Union.

In fact, the first 13 starred Confederate flag also contained a blue cross, but it was later removed because some objected to the religious significance of a cross. The first one later became the battle flag for the Virginian army.

Actually, I just looked and Wiki has it right. They do not claim the 13 starred flag is the first confederate flag. You just have no reading comprehension. They show the different stars and bars flags as they progressed but you did not read the article. Go back and figure out how you made the mistake you made. I will not teach you how you made it. You should be able to figure it out.
