Could hit 9 tomorrow easy.... Don't bet on it. At least not for long. Even if PSIX talks to him, unless he has financing commitments, I can't see them blowing off the IXC deal meeting. I'd expect a statement to the effect that 1) the IXC deal will provide superior returns to shareholders in the long term; 2) they could not be reasonably assured that USInternetworking could arrange the financing. Both of these statements may well be true, plus, the IXC deal is likely the best deal for management too. Additional info on the bidder would be helpful. Anybody know more than what was in the ZDN story about the company or individual? Bob PS: Maybe the buyout rumors?? Definitely! Look at an intraday chart. tscn.com
