Reducing debt does not reduce earnings. The price protection and ad expenses would hurt earnings, of course. That almost seems like something to expect every quarter though.

BTW, I took two accounting classes last year, and I think there's a lot of useful info in such a class. I would reccomend everyone who doesn't already know a lot about accounting to consider such a class.
